Dr Wilna Lombaard qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002 and has interests in family, geriatric and aesthetic medicine. She worked in Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage where she was partner at a GP practice.
The family relocated to Johannesburg in 2011. She worked as a flight doctor and in various emergency rooms and GP practices across Johannesburg.
She is still actively involved in the medical assistance of client’s travelling and working internationally.
She opened a new family practice in Northcliff in 2019.

Dr Larisse Badenhorst

Dr Larisse Badenhorst qualified from the University of Witwatersrand in 2013. She studied B.Sc. Behavioural Genetics at the University of the Free State and completed her Honours in Genetics before moving to Johannesburg to complete her MBBCh.
She started her Internship at Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria West and stayed on to complete her Community Service at the same hospital in the Family Medicine Department, working in casualty, the family medicine clinic as well as the HIV clinic. She started working as a General Practitioner at Intercare in Fourways in 2017. She completed her HIV Diploma while working at Intercare in 2018 from the Colleges of Medicine South Africa.
In 2019, the opportunity of becoming the co-owner of Well Family Practice and part of My Sexual Health Johannesburg crossed her path. It is here where she could really lay the ground for the love she has for women’s health and sexual health issues, in particular HIV care. She is the sole owner of Well Family Practice since March 2022 & relocated to be closer to home. Well Family Practice joined the beautiful HvH Lifestyle Centre in Northcliff.
At Well Family Practice we treat all general medical and surgical problems. We do multiple procedures and insurance examinations and anything else that you can think of. Dr Badenhorst also developed a few extra skills that can give you even better care. She completed her training in Sexual Health and can therefore treat all
complicated sexual problems. Sexual Health includes all women’s health (including pap smears, gynaecological checkups and contraception), inserting of intra-uterine devices (IUDs) and thorough HIV management. She also does aesthetics, including
botulism toxin (“Botox”) and PRP facials. This makes you look younger and more beautiful, without looking fake.
Whatever your age, young and old, holistic care is always available from this GP Practice.
Qualifications and Experience
She has been working in private practice since 2017. Her practice is located at the HvH Lifestyle Centre in Northcliff, Johannesburg.
She is the owner of Well Family Practice. The practice relocated from Bryanston in March 2022 so that Dr Badenhorst could be closer to home. She has done her HIV Diploma from Colleges of Medicine SA in 2018.
She also did her aesthetic training in 2020/2021. She is also a member of the HIV Clinicians Society of South Africa. She has done the WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) GEI Foundations Course in 2021.

Well Family Practice is a GP practice of which she is the owner & director. There she consults with GP patients with general medical problems. HvH Lifestyle Centre in Northcliff Johannesburg is the facility where Dr Badenhorst practices from.
